To me, bonsai represents a conversation with the natural world.   They are a way to experience and interact with the grandeur of a massive tree in a very intimate way. They serve as ambassadors of the environments from which they natively grow, from lush jungles, sun bleached beaches, swamps. and craggly mountain sides.  Often, bonsai are misunderstood in their care and the appreciation and tragically are rarely seen as the opportunity that they are. My hope for you is that through bonsai,  you feel those wild places and that in turn, start your own conversation with the natural world around you with all of it subtle and perfect rhythms.
